Jupiter Harrington

Hello, I am Jupiter Harrington! I am currently pursuing a Master's in Clinical Counseling Psychology at Clayton State University. I received my Bachelor's in Biology from Gordon State College before pursuing my passion of psychology. Growing up in the south side of Atlanta has given me a great appreciation for our rich, diverse cultures here. Being a part of the Queer, BIPOC, and disabled community has helped me understand the nuance associated with intersectionality of identities. My experiences living as a multifaceted person are what drive me towards helping others and creating the most inviting space for you. I have experience and education in multiple treatment approaches and will work with you to find your best fit. Overall, I align with person-centered theory with an emphasis on empathy and unconditional positive regard. With PCT, you are the expert of your life and together we can foster a greater sense of insight and move towards congruence, aligning who you are with who you want to be. I am also passionate about engaging in multicultural and feminist psychological theories as our environments greatly impact who we are as people. .
