Keshia Johnson, LMSW, is a Licensed Master level therapist/social worker who has 15 years of counseling experience, with a strong commitment to helping clients of all ages navigate life’s challenges. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Grambling State University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Georgia. Keshia began her career in community support services, where she specialized in teaching coping and anger management skills to families. This foundation allowed her to develop expertise in guiding individuals through emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and strengthening family relationships. In her clinical practice, Keshia works with children, adults, couples, and families, providing tailored support that meets each client’s unique needs. She has extensive experience helping clients face grief, loss, and trauma, offering both empathy and evidence-based tools for healing. Keshia is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which she uses to help clients reframe unhelpful thought patterns, process painful experiences, and build resilience. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood and empowered.
